The view from high on the Tarpon Springs Boulevard (the only real road on the island of Halki, Greece). The closest body of water is Pondamos Bay which has the only sandy beach on the Island. Beyond Pondamos (in the centre of the shot) is the Halki cemetery church, Ags. Soulas. On the hill above the church you can see the three ruined windmills that stand guard above the village of Nimborio (the only settlement on the Island). On the left of the shot is Nimborio Village and its lovely bay. Halki is a small, very charming island, part of the Dodecanese Group of Greek islands, situated opposite the west coast of the Island of Rhodes.
