Exotic Marigold, wonderful memories, wonderful people, special. Taken and adapted digitally from a photograph of the original work by the British artist Tony Broadbent these images done in my style are now placed as new works in a modern idiom and are available on a multitude of Redbubble products. The Coastline Conference and Event Center, a convention center in Wilmington, North Carolina, was constructed in the late 19th century for the Atlantic Coastline Railroad (ACL) and was used as its headquarters from the early 1900s to 1960s. During that time, ACL was the largest employer and contributor to the area's economic growth. The restoration and conversion of the ACL to the Coastline Conference and Event Center began in 1989 and was completed while still preserving the historic character of the building. As the transformation occurred, attention to detail was taken as Coastline Conference and Event Center became the ideal wedding venue and conference space for many successful contemporary events. Hollywood Alley proudly described itself as "Arizona's only ultra-chic pissant hip dive bar" which may only make sense to those who spent any amount of time there. This Mesa, Arizona establishment spent a quart century as a live music landmark that hosted literally thousands of bands, both well-loved local acts and well known national touring bands alike. Aside from the musicians on stage and the well provisioned bar slinging drinks, Hollywood Alley was known for something else – their food. The quality of the culinary offerings was leaps and bounds above what one might expect from a dive bar music venue, but that was because the kitchen was serving up family recipes, all made by hand.

Charley Magruder’s, the north Atlanta club owned by Butch Weaver from the early 1980s through its demise in 1996, was the spot that attracted a motley procession of familiar faces, from Tommy Shaw of Styx to Lemmy of Motorhead to Butch Patrick (aka Eddie Munster) to members of Metallica — all of whom would swing by. It was a launching pad for many successful bands. The now defunct WKLS 96 Rock would host events there. Along with places like Turtle's Records and Tapes, CM was a safe haven for many an Atlantan to get their ROCK on!

Who would want to go into the pit when you'd rather stand in the back of the club instead?

Sopley Mill Number of views as of 30th October 2018 = 410. Sopley Mill (in the village of Sopley, Hampshire, England) was built in 1780 and is a Grade II listed building, though older mills on the same site date back almost 1000 years. The village is close to the banks of the River Avon, 3 miles north of Christchurch and 6 miles south of Ringwood. The mill no longer produces flour, but is now a wedding venue. Shut Up This Is A Music Venue If You Want To Talk To Your Mates

Sitting on the banks of the River Tyne and looking like an alien object, The Sage Gateshead is instantly recognisable when visitors approach Newcastle upon Tyne over the Tyne Bridge. Made of curved glass and stainless steel, The Sage was opened at the end of 2004 and is now a major music venue, being home to the Royal Northern Symphonia as well as hosting a variety of concerts and music classes. The building was designed by Foster and Partners, who received a number of awards for the design.
