The Red Paint Powwow & Indian Market held in Silver City, New Mexico is an event not to be missed. From the cultural traditions, the traditional dress, the rhythm of the music, the energy of the dance this is a treat for you senses. In this composite collection, 3 young dancers are expressing their creativity and abilities in their traditional dance, the fluid movement of color and texture with feathers, material, beads and such is amazing to see. They can be reached along the walking tracks from Cape Schanck and Fingal Picnic Area car parks. The two beaches are remnants of a once large beach, that supplied sand to the backing cliff-top dunes. Today they have been eroded down to the present strip of sand, fronted by rock platforms and reefs. They are backed by the 40 m high calcarenite cliffs with the active dunes on top.Both beaches face south-west into the full force of the westerly winds and waves. The waves break on the offshore reefs and rocks; and the narrow beaches are only active at high tide.

An abstract view created in this wall and window with lines and textures. Known as "Officer's Row" at Fort Bayard in southwest New Mexico, once regal living quarters are now falling sadly into decay. Portrayed in the art of decay, there are many elements telling a story of time in this photograph. Although I am not sure when this dwelling was built, Fort Bayard was originally established and the first building of the fort began in August of 1866 and currently is a National Historic Landmark. My heart breaks to see these once majestic buildings fall into ruin.....

Tidal River, Wilson's Promontory National Park, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Wilsons Promontory National Park is on a peninsula southeast of Melbourne, Australia. It’s known for its rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife, including kangaroos and wombats. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz sand. Nearby, Mount Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands.

Utah is a state of amazing natural color. A visit to Capitol Reef National Park is only one of southern Utah's natural wonders to put on your list of 'Must See' places on your visit to the state. Vast landscapes to smaller vignette view, such as this, will just take your breath away with beauty.

The Bell (in Finedon, Northamptonshire) has been around since 1042 (it's mentioned in the Domesday Book), and said to be the oldest pub in England. Obviously it's been added to and updated since then, with the main section built around 1598 and current facade in 1872.

Shelly Beach lies between the 20 m high calcarenite bluffs of Point Franklin and Point King. There are boat sheds below the bluffs at the back, with several jetties extending across the beaches. The beaches face north-north-east and usually receive low wind waves. They are both relatively narrow and steep, with deep water at high tide, but tidal flats at low tide. There are boats moored off the beach and the jetties.
