"Little Sunshine" is an original ink brush pen painting. Including the border, the original measures 8-1/2" x 11" and was painted on heavy stock, textured ivory paper. A ladybug takes a stroll along the leaf of a bamboo stalk. Her name is 'Little Sunshine'. She doesn't question the meaning of life but just enjoys the gift of nature. I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese 'sumi-e' and chinese 'shui-mo hua' paintings. This 'one stroke style' painting is from my 'Beauty of Bamboo' series.
