Overman Tires 1890 Vintage T-Shirt

Overman Tire Company began business in the late 1890 manufacturing OEM bicycle tires for bike manufacturers. Overman changed with the times, expanding their line to include the manufacturing of the solid rubber tires used on trucks in their early years, and later heavy duty tubed tires that were extremely popular with fleet owners. Marketed as "the world's best tire," Overman's were known for being tough as nails and were standard equipment on most fire trucks. This is where their devil mascot originated, showing that their tires were tough enough to dance with the devil in the flames of fire fighting.
