Fandango Swathe of colours no 8 Part of the " art in the rain " series. These pieces were made using ink, rainwater and saturated heavy duty water paper and other dilutents to give the effect of free flowing colours caught in mid flow. Tricky and easy to both under-do or not do enough plus the constant changes brought about by rainfall had to be carefully watched. Yes I did get soaked on many an occasion but it was worth it. Some pieces took minutes, some took literally days of application and reapplication in the achieving a very abstract and colourful outcome. A series of distinct works.
