The sculpture of Tommy 1101 a First World War soldier, sits, head bowed on the seafront of Seaham Harbour. Before him, is a large poppy made from pebbles taken from the local beach and painted by children. Here the image has been converted to black and white and the colour re-introduced to the pebbles to show the effect of the poppy.
