Chicago - Windy City; Birthplace of Skyscrapers. T-Shirt

I was only in Chicago a few hours having arrived from Des Moines by Greyhound, an experience in its own right. I collected as many individual shots as I could hoping that they would come in handy. I never through anything away. Standing on a street corner, waiting to cross, I noticed a man-hole in the street in front of me with information about what was buried below. A whole unseen world laying beneath our feet. This got me thinking as researched what was literally beneath my feet. Mass transit rail systems, water , gas, electric, internet, sewers etc. The list seemed endless.
