Elevate Your Eyes, Salisbury Cathedral T-Shirt

This is an image of the ceiling of Salisbury Cathedral, taken from a viewpoint beneath the great spire. What a place; enormous in scale and divine in its decoration. This is a place that was built during the 13th century, so that's about 750–800 years ago. I must admit that I really enjoy photographing old cathedrals; they have a majesty that is quite sublime. What gets me is the depth of faith that the people who toiled to build such a place must have had. Many would have probably worked on such a place all their working lives.
