I'm just a novice in this area, so I can't make up my mind about the larger bird in the right background. I think it is a Rook, but it may be a Carrion Crow. Hopefully, one of you knowledgeable people out there can put me right. Update: My good friend Dave Law informs me that it is definately a Rook. The smaller bird in the left foreground is a Jackdaw. Stunning little birds! Is it any wonder that they're coming down from their roosts and dropping down people's chimneys with all this pollution going on...??? I say this tongue in cheek, but really we've got to get our heads together on how we're managing our Wildlife otherwise we are going to lose them...
