In the book Tao Te Ching, he tells us to “bend your back, sit in the mud, and let go of what you are.” This means that we should embrace simplicity and reduce our selfishness. By doing this, we will be more at peace with ourselves and our surroundings.

I chose to use the ensō symbol as it represents the oneness of life and all things contained within it, the spirit of harmonious cooperation, personal development and refinement of character. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Ensō suggests to the student to stop striving for perfection and allow the universe to be as it is.
