Pattern and design originally created for Father’s Day. I was thinking of my own childhood and going star gazing with my dad. All elements are hand drawn, including the type, and then digitized.

The design contains the illustration of an adventurer boy with everything in his bagpack that is needed for meteorites collecting: A sieve and a magnet to preselect potentially meteorites and a microscope for secured identification of non-terrestrial materials by shape, color and structure.

Pattern of outer space doodles in planets, shooting stars, in a sea of black

I made this design inspired by sci fi and outer space. The process began with a pencil sketch and then in vector with illustrator to move to photoshop and give textures and final touches. This design is loaded with warm colors with the purpose of representing the full strength of a star. I always imagine the day when humanity has the technology to explore other worlds.
