Gardens Of Stone National Park next to Wollemi National Park from a trip a few years ago. I loved the beautiful mountain vistas in this area. As you can see the truck was kicking up a bit of dust. A rather snowy Fan Gyhirych from the Carmarthen Fan in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales

This craggy little peak is called Clogwynygarreg, which I've been told is Welsh for Wolf Crag. It sits in Snowdonia national park (Wales) surrounded by much higher peaks, including a cloud capped Snowdon in the background, and Mynydd Mawr behind the viewer. This crag has a certain presence, so its macho name is quite understandable. This is a re-painting based on photographs I took on a bright sunny September morning in 2006. I've painted it in oil on a 20x16 board straight over my less accomplished original version.

The hike to the Ruined Castle is a strenuous one but after my first trip there a few years ago was cut short by a thunderstorm, resulting in few photos, I was determined to return. Somersby Falls is in the Brisbane Waters National Park near Gosford in New South Wales, Australia. After almost a week of rain, the waterfalls in this area were pumping pretty well.
