Yellow Card T-Shirts

Tea for Two is an abstract work painted in acrylic and black pen. Firstly a tea party was drawn and then completely deconstructed. Pieces of the work were then reconstructed into a different abstract design. Next lines were drawn choosing only certain sections of the design and other lines were removed. Finally the piece was painted with a limited palette of bright acrylic colours followed by detail in black pen. This is a small section of the Tea for Two painting which I felt made an interesting abstract design and gave anyone who chose to purchase the print some extra options for matching throw pillows.

Glass Bottles Abstract 4 is from a series of mixed media paintings I undertook, with bottles as the theme. I love bright colours and in this painting I could not resist the combination of bright yellow and purple. This painting would brighten up the darkest corner of any home and would look great in a sun room.

Rose Flowers and prettiness, simple as that! A yellow rose from my own garden, tweaked into a delightful design to grace any product.

Love gazanias - this is a digital interpretation derived from some photos I took of gazanias. I have given it a clear background and am happy to change the background colour on an item upon request, simply email me at [email protected].

This was a project I did following a Brenda Bakker Skillshare class on creating happy, whimsical acrylic paintings digitally using Procreate. The class was loads of fun as are all of Brenda’s classes.
