With the Brunswiek Alt, the National Jürgens Brewery is reviving a Braunschweig beer tradition that has been marketed since the championship year 1967. Poured into the glass, the chestnut brown beer presents itself with a fine, nutty foam and gives you an idea that roasted malts are in charge here. In the nose, aromas of caramel, dried fruits and a hint of coffee unfold. It is a beer with a beautiful body that fills the mouth pleasantly and yet appears light and tangy. The taste is refreshingly dry and bitter.
