The Secret Seal of Solomon is a Seal of Protection attributed to King Solomon. The second son of David and Bathsheba, Solomon was the Third King of Isreal who ruled around the 10th century BC. The seal is considered to be, by tradition, the symbol by means of which the “72 Djinn were imprisoned in the Brazen Vessel by the Mogus-King and sunk beneath the ocean.” It was in the ring God Himself gave to Solomon to have control over and fight demons. The magical influence of this talisman has been described as “protection from all negative influences and evil spirits.”

Sitri (also spelled Bitru, Sytry) is a Great Prince of Hell, and reigns over sixty legions of demons.

Listed in the Pseudomonarchie Daemonum, Legemeton, and Dictionnaire Infernal, this Prince of Hell is supposed to have knowledge of the past, present, and future, and remarkably, the power to reconcile enemies. Appearing variably as a horse or a man, he is also remarkable for his purported refusal to engage in deceit.

Moloch, here conflated with bull-headed Morax/Marax of the Pseudomonarchie Daemonum and Lesser Key of Solomon, has come to symbolize subservience to greed and wealth, and as such, its name has entered common speech somewhat. Notably, Moloch has become part of recent conspiracy theory, although the owl statue of Bohemian Grove fame probably has little to do with the more culturally rich figure of the bull-headed idol.
