I altered the concept art by Matt Allsopp for this shirt. The concept drawings for, what is hopefully, the reboot of The Last Starfighter gave me chills and I really wanted this on a shirt for myself.

The Last Starfighter is a sci-fi adventure movie released in 1984. The film tells the story of high schooler Alex Rogan, who conquers the Starfighter video game, only to find out it was just a recruiting test from an alien race in search of high performing starfighter pilots. Alex gets transported to another planet, where he learns that has been recruited to join a team of the best starfighters in the universe to defend their world from a hostile alien race.

Last Starfighter

I wish i had a Beta Unit to replace me some days.

The Star League is a group of planetary governments that forms the united defense against Xur and the Kodan Armada in the movie The Last Starfighter. This design is their official logomark along with Star League rocker text. I've also got a nice vintage version of this design if you want it to look like an 80s relic.
