A play on the traditional jeepney signage in the Philippines. “Para sa Pilipinas” translates to “For The Philippines.” “Para” is also the word used by jeepney riders to signal to the driver that they have reached their stop and would want to get off the vehicle. So this whole phrase is as Filipino pop culture as it gets.

“Chismoso” is a Filipino noun that means a male who is a gossip monger, or someone who is always up in someone’s business. This is used in the masculine sense, the feminine equivalent of which is “chismosa.”

Gigil refers to the trembling or gritting of the teeth in response to a situation that overwhelms your self-control. It's been commonly described as an irresistible urge to squeeze something cute. Banana ketchup, also known as banana sauce (in export markets), is a Philippine fruit ketchup condiment made from banana, sugar, vinegar, and spices. Its natural color is brownish-yellow but it is often dyed red to resemble tomato ketchup. Banana ketchup was first produced in the Philippines during World War II due to a wartime shortage of tomatoes but a comparatively high production of bananas.
