We wondered what our favorite author would look like as a sad spud. So here we go, a funny food pun for all to enjoy. We shudder to think what the future may hold. Poe-tato chips? Mashed poe-tatoes? Poe-tato salad? Either way, the outcome will not be good.

These images are from a book of drawings Harry Clarke drew in the 1920s to accompany stories by Edgar Allen Poe. Harry Clarke (1889 – 1931) was an Irish stained-glass artist and book illustrator.
