I painted this picture to celebrate one of the most distinctive frame builders in British cycling. Hetchins are renowned for their ornate lugwork and curly seat and chain stays. The image shows the Hetchins badge along with fancy graphics in the background and this particular bicycle is owned by a good cycling buddy. I have recreated it in fine detail emphasising the triple chainset, worn Brooks saddle and fantastic frame graphics. Crimson red, metallic gold and rich black colours are complemented by bold geometric shapes to produce a unique hand crafted image. A lone iceberg does its best to resist the waves trying to suck it back into the sea at Jökulsárlón beach. The black sand, blue ice, and white of the wash as the waves rushed out back to sea were a huge contrast, even in the dying light of the day.

A roundish blue-green comet and planet flying over the edge of the universe. The planet has a purple-light blue ring around it and the comment leaves a bright trail of majestically blending green, blue, and purple. On top of the trail, there are smaller planets in the colors of the rainbow in decreasing size and each leaving their own smaller trail. The universe features a night sky the serves as the background of where the plane and comment are coming from.
