This Messerschmitt Me 109 G-4 showed up at the 16th oldtimer meeting in 2011 at the Hahnweide, near Kirchheim / Teck, Germany. The Hahnweide is actually a glider airfield with a grass runway - which fits very good to this plane. Canon EOS 60D in Sports mode, 1/500 s, f9, 154 mm, ISO 100.

The legendary Junkers JU-52 is one of the airplanes you could book for a round trip at the 16th Oldtimer Fliegertreffen 2011 at the Hahnweide, near Kirchheim/Teck, Germany. As always this air show event is quite fascinating. There are lots of historical airplanes taking part at the flight show. The event takes place in 2-years intervals.
