EPIC SURF BREAKS great places to surf around the world.

The Dunes Cantina opened its doors in 1936 at 16232 Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, California. It was dive bar that maintained it's wild west roots and was really only known to the few regulars that called it home over the decades, but that all changed after it got a cameo appearance in the 1979 horror movie, Phantasm. Of course, a few minutes of screen time in a cult classic flick doesn't exactly change a place's fate, as it only stuck around a few more years before becoming a sushi joint in 1983.

Sometimes the best part of a destination is the journey. Grab your surfboard and enjoy the ride in your 4x4 and the ride on the waves.
