This cute little chameleon was nothing but a small doodle in a sketchbook. I came across it on the day my grandpa died. Therefore I felt it needed some happy summer color and, in return, this little guy added some much-needed happiness to my day. Hopefully it will bring the same for you! :)

What started as a small doodle in a sketchbook, turned into this piece that I'm using to decorate the bulletin board in my local library's children's area. I just took over adorning the bulletin board, and my intention while painting this bear was just to share it with the community. But now that it's finished, it's just too cute not to share with everyone! -Plus as a former children's librarian I really want a sticker! ;D

This piece was inspired by Ellen's saying "be kind to one another." A few years ago, I sent her a letter along with this piece asking if I could have tickets to her show for my mom who is a huge fan (even bigger than me, and that's saying something!). My mom has tried since the show began to get tickets with no luck. In exchange I offered Ellen a drawing every week for a year for giveaways or to sell for charity or whatever. It's too bad I never heard anything back from the Ellen show because it would have meant the world to my mom. Anywho, I present this piece to you now. Words to live by. :)
