The Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris, located at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. Measuring 8.64 hectares in area, it is the largest square in the French capital. The place was designed in 1755 as a moat-skirted octagon between the Champs-Elysées to the west and the Tuileries Garden to the east. The area was named the Place Louis XV to honor the king at that time, and was decorated with many statues and fountains. At the north end of the square, two magnificent identical stone buildings were constructed (separated by rue Royale). The Aztec peoples included different ethnic groups from central Mexico, particularly those groups that spoke the Nahuatl language and dominated large parts of Mesoamerica among the 14th to 16th centuries.

*Albert Memorial, Swanage, February 2022* This Purbeck stone obelisk in Swanage (Dorset, England) is a memorial to Prince Albert (consort to Queen Victoria) who died in 1861. Originally built the year after Albert's death, the obelisk was dismantled in 1971, but rebuilt 50 years later in 2021. The memorial stands overlooking Swanage Bay. Date: 27th February 2022.
