The calm waters of the Kemijoki under the gorgeous, late-night skies of midsummer's eve. Rovaniemi was a great place to spend my first midsummer holiday!

This picture shows a view of the old Derby Silk Mill on the River Derwent in Derbyshire, England. This is said to be the first fully-mechanized factory in the world. The original work is in Staedtler watercolour pencils on vif Art textured watercolour paper.

This is another in the triptych of Egrets and Reflections. It shows a Snowy egret fluffing up it's plumage whilst stepping daintily through the water. I took the original image in Indian Shores in Florida and edited it in Photoshop CC, I have already posted the third image in this series a few months ago, it's called "Sometimes You've Just Got to scratch it"

A couple of Whooper swans flapping their wings at one another and a trio of geese flying overhead as the sun sets on a misty lake. We have had thousands of these beautiful swans down in the UK for the winter, they arrive at about the same time as the Pink footed geese in October and are leaving to fly north to breed about now in mid March. This is a composite of some of my own photos and textures, blended together in Photoshop CC and Topaz.

Trinity Reflections On Hancock Tower 200 Clarendon Boston Massachusetts by Debra Martz Across the street from the Trinity Church is the 200 Clarendon building but still known and referred to locally as the Hancock Tower. The church reflects beautifully on the building's blue glass windows. The Millenium Bridge, Newcastle, the bridge links Newcastle’s thriving north bank with the Gateshead Quays arts and cultural quarter. The bridge is essentially two graceful curves, one forming the deck and the other supporting it, spanning between two islands running parallel to the quaysides.

The beautiful town of Sirmione is situated at the end of a peninsular at the south end of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. This image was shot from the eastern side of the historical centre of the resort and Mallard ducks can be spotted on the clear, still water of the lake just before the sun set over the horizon at the end of another beautiful May day.

Cotehele is a mediaeval/Tudor house located in the parish of Calstock, Cornwall, England, UK. The grounds stretch down to a quay on the River Tamar where there is an outpost of the National Maritime Museum.

The Milky Way stretches across the sky, high above Lake Wyaralong and the setting, nearly-new moon. The moon was actually only a tiny sliver, which is why its light didn't hide the stars.

A beautiful sunset picture along the Burrum River, at Burrum Heads, QLD, a sleepy little village on the edge of Hervey Bay.

I took this picture on a trip to Austria at a place called Neusiedl am See. There is a massive lake there and the water was so still that the reflections were perfect, it was so quiet and still that I had to call it Peace. Edited in Photoshop cc and Topaz.
