Ice Bank on the Lake by Debra Martz After some severe cold weather in January, we finally had some days of south winds which brought some much wanted warmth. Which meant, time out of the house! So naturally, we headed to the state park only 45 miles away from home. One area of the lake was completely devoid of ice remains and that was where we saw large numbers of Pelicans and Gulls.
