I was lucky enough to capture this peacock at Dehiwela zoo in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was shot through a metal fence, fanning its feathers in a proud display for all watching. Peacocks are magnificent birds, like nothing else that walk this earth. Santiago, capital city of Chile. This is the view from the top of the look out at St Lucia Park. The building that leads the climb to the top is seen in "World Forgotten":http://www.redbubble.com/people/parmi/art/3444920-2-world-forgotten. There is nothing like being in a city and being able to see snow capped mountain tops in the near distance. (45 bus ride takes you to the Andes Mountains). As incredible a place as Santiago is, the city has unfortunately been built in a valley, which has trapped the smog and pollution over the years. The view of the Andes, as seen here, is slowly being obliterated by the smokey sky. After speaking with a few locals, they are predicting only 10 - 20 years until the view is faded away to smog ...

Lately I've seen many incredible pieces based on The Eiffel Tower. They inspired me to go back through my Paris photos and process another. *Best viewed large* The Okavango Delta, Botswana, Africa. This body of water is the largest inland delta in the world, and one of the wildest parts of Southern Africa. Many of the animals inhabiting this region have never had human contact and thus, are as carnal as they come. That's a comforting thought, when you are spending two nights bush camping among this habitat lol! No toilets, showers or indoor areas, aside from our tents. At night time all was silent, apart from the calls of elephants, hyenas, jackals, and what I thought was a train moving in the distance.. turned out to be a pride of lions roaring after they had killed their dinner. By mid afternoon the temperature reached 48 degrees celcius (118F) on our first day....

This is the ferris wheel of Luna Park, Melbourne. (Australia). I shot this through the main gates, as the park was closed to the public. It reminded me of when I used to go as a child, there was really nothing more exciting than a theme park, carnival or anything that had show bags to take home! We were travelling through Sri Lanka, somewhere between Kandy and Newera Eliya, in the centre of the highland tea plantations. The roads were windy and a little treacherous. Mum started to feel a bit sick, so we pulled over for a few minutes. I looked out the window and this is what I was gifted. I have no idea which falls these are, but it seems like everything aligned for me in one magical moment. I fumbled with the camera and captured a few shots, before the crow flew away. The title comes from an album by Goldfrapp. A mate of mine was looking at the unedited photo and said it looked like something from that album.
