Shirley Temple was the child star of the 1930s and 1940s. She is seen here, in a publicity photo,holding a stuffed toy. I added a bit of color to the original black and white picture and the blue and white polka dot background. You can also get this picture of Shirley with a plain white background. In this 1930’s publicity shot Shirley Temple doesn’t look too pleased. I paired her photograph up with a funny saying, “if every day is a gift, then today is socks!”

Shirley Temple was the original child star of the 1930’s and 1940’s. I took the black and white publicity photo and added a touch of color to add more life to the picture.

Shirley Temple Black (born Shirley Jane Temple; April 23, 1928 – February 10, 2014) was an American actress, singer, dancer, and diplomat, who was Hollywood's number-one box-office draw as a child actress from 1934 to 1938. Later, she was named United States Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia, and also served as Chief of Protocol of the United States.

The sweet original child star from the 1930’s - 1940’s. Shirley Temple dance, sang and acted her way into our hearts. I will always be one of her biggest fans. Here’s a 1930’s publicity photo of shirley in pink against a teal background with yellow hearts.
