There are rare individuals who appreciate all three versions of Black Christmas, this is for you. No one can hold a candle to Bob Clark's 1974 Classic, but it is interesting to see the film through the lens of different eras. This is version 2.0 of my three Black Christmas' design.

I love this central style of design and wanted to do one similar to my Halloween one. I love the idea that cold, natural things could become something which gives us such warmth and love and light. Josh is a freshly baked gingerbread man, complete with stylish marzipan scarf. He’s ready for winter. I’m not much for twee Xmas things, but I do enjoy gingerbread. I wanted Josh to look as soft baked and delicious as possible, so chose soft ginger colours to reflect this. This gingerbread man was baked in Photoshop :)

The lore of Krampus originates with the Germanic peoples of Europe and stretches back to pre-Christian times. However, as Christianity took over Europe, Krampus was turned as a kind of counter balance to St. Nicholas. While good ol' St. Nick was going around rewarding good little boys and girls with gifts, Krampus was out there beating the hell out of the bad ones! If you were an especially rotten little boy or girl, Krampus would actually KIDNAP you and carry you away in his sack to his lair!
