Del Mar Skateboard Ranch 1978 Tapestry

Del Mar Skateboard Ranch, also known as DMSR, was an American skatepark in Del Mar, California, which opened in August of 1978 and was demolished July 1987. The park was built in '78 and quickly became the gathering point for skaters throughout the San Diego County area, including many influential skaters that would go on to be well-known pros. The park featured a bunch of terrain options that included the keyhole pool, kidney “Kona” pool, egg bowl thirteen footer, square pool, halfpipe, big reservoir, baby snake run, giant banked slalom, and the freestyle reservoir. Additional amenities included an arcade, pro shop, mini-golf, and several hi-ball trampoline setups.
