Gas cheaper than rent Tapestry

When I was a child, my mother told me of a radio play she once heard where in the future, people lived in giant carhouses, taking turns to drive, sitting in traffic jams forever, being born, living and dying while endlessly circling the vast ringroad of a city, as a demon watched over them from on high. It nagged at me for years to draw it and this is the result.
