A view of the Mevlana Museum (Mevlâna Müzesi) in Konya, which is in south-central Turkey. This impressive building was built as the mausoleum for the Persian mystic Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, completed in 1274. However further additions to the building were made until 1854. It is also famed as the former home to the Whirling Dervishes. It became a museum in 1927.
