Lucy Darling, Golden Age of Magic Pillow

Lucy Darling stands tall in a field of earth tone brush strokes holding her signature martini (1 part gin, 2 parts vermouth with a hint of elderflower shaken over ice with a cherry). Two childish imps clutch at Lucy's elaborate gown. The dress is inspired by the opulence fabrics and designs by fashion designer Vera Wang with a nod to Lucy iconic stage costume. Unlike the traditional use of imps in the history of magic lithographs they do not whisper secrets to the magician. Rather the imps look out at the viewer, shyly peaking out from behind their mistress with curiosity. The blue dress trimmed in gold in combination with the childlike imps also references classic images of the Madonna.
