Svenska Aeroplan Aktie Bolag 1965 Pillow

In 1938, the Swedish government founded Svenska Aeroplan Aktie Bolag (SAAB) for the purpose of the manufacturing of bomber and fighter aircraft for the Royal Swedish Air Force. They grew to be a very successful production company during the war, and post-war, the company began manufacturing civilian aircraft as well. Still looking for new products to start manufacturing, Saab decided to jump feet first into making automobiles. Needless to say, not everything they did was a hit, but eventually they got it right, leading to a long run of highly recognizable cars with an almost cult-like following of fans and enthusiasts. This design is based on the 1965 logo design employed by Saab which still played off their aerospace history.
