九鬼嘉隆: Kuki Yoshitaka was a highly esteemed naval commander during Japan's Sengoku Period, famous for his exploits at Kizugawa. He served under the Kitabatake clan until Oda Nobunaga's invasion of Ise in 1569, when he submitted to Nobunaga to avoid conflict, and continue to serve under Toyotomi Hideyoshi after the Honnoji event. 海賊大名: Pirate Daimyo, or Pirate warlord is the appellation given to Yoshitaka for his naval power, and Kuki clan was originally a group of pirate. In the background is the kamon (family crest) of Kuki, Shichiyo (七曜) or "Seven Luminaries", and Japanese warship of Sengoku Period, beside his name is the samurai signature of Yoshitaka.
