This is an image of Smith Rock State Park, which is located in central Oregon's High Desert near the town of Bend. It has been recently named one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon. Smith Rock comprises of many sheer cliffs and towering hunks of golden red volcanic rock crags jutting up from a windy river canyon. It is generally considered the birthplace of modern American sport climbing. It is a very popular place for sport climbing, traditional climbing, multi-pitch climbing, and bouldering. All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses.
