Feminist Icon Barbie Pillow

Since Barbie's debut in 1959, Barbie has evolved as a feminist icon, now in the Barbie movie, and reflected women's changing roles in society. Barbie has enjoyed over 200 careers and, like the Barbie movie, she has shown girls (and women!) they can aspire to any profession, business, or public service. By her very nature, Barbie encourages imagination, creativity, and ambition (all qualities of Barbie movie director Greta Gerwig!). Barbie created a whole new age of Barbies of different ethnicities, body types, and abilities, seen in the Barbie movie. Barbie promotes inclusivity and self-acceptance. Like the Barbie movie, she highlights accomplished women from diverse fields and Barbie always inspires girls (and women!) to dream big.
