Bridge Sunset at Indian River Watercolor Pillow

In this simulated watercolor presentation, the sun sets under the Indian River Inlet Bridge - as seen from the north shore jetty at the outer end of the inlet. The suspended portion of the cable-stayed bridge is one half mile long and provides smooth access for traffic north and south along the coastal highway on Route 1, connecting the towns of Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach - and points farther south and north. It is a central architectural feature at the Delaware Seashore State Park, which attracts visitors, beach-goers and vacationers by the thousands.
