The voting was closed and Judge Slade was busy counting the ballets on the boardwalk. A banjo player sat on a barrel and sang a song to a tiny gathering of children. "Mad Dog and Rattlesnake were the meanest deputies of the West. They carried no guns because they were quicker than the rest. They carried skillets and they would whack you on the head. Bandits learned to run from them; otherwise they were dead!" Mad Doggggggg! Rattlesnaaaaaaake! ...
