"Floral Path in the Woods" is a vibrant and serene artwork that depicts a peaceful scene in the forest in spring or summer. The painting features a path lined with tall trees on either side, creating a natural canopy that filters sunlight and casts dappled shadows on the ground below. The forest teems with life, as evidenced by the explosion of multicolored flowers that carpet the forest floor and climb the trees, adding a splash of color to the otherwise green and brown landscape. The path itself is almost invisible as nature has taken over, however you can see it winding gently through the forest, leading the viewer deeper into the woods. As I walked up the river, I found a place of convergence, convergence of forest canopy with the flow of the river... I wanted to better capture this and illustrate using a longer exposure - to "strengthen the feeling of movement and flow of the river" I used a neutral density filter to slow down my shutter speed and worked in post to accentuate the capture.
