Cinderella, the little ash girl

Winter is here in fairy town, wear this original watercolour painting and carry fair magic with you everywhere you go.

This is an abstract piece inspired by the original ending of the Grimm Brothers'"Cinderella" story. Birds knew that the stepsisters had cut off parts of their feet to fit into the glass slipper, and their punishment for being wicked and liars was for the birds to gouge and peck out their eyes. Each sister is represented by the colors red and blue. The middle figure is female, profiled face being pecked out by the bird like structures surrounding the head. Yes, this piece is MUCH darker than the norm, but different can be good if done well.

Once upon a time used to only be in books but now the fairytales have come to life on TV. This Once Upon A Time t-shirt design was inspired by Henry’s story book and the town of Storybrooke, where Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin and other classic characters live normal lives away from their castles but not their curses.
