As a woman and artist with a Veteran Marine beloved in my life, I hear all about various forms of military humor through him - the biggest one referring to “Crayon Eaters” … as an artist my imagination can take his descriptions and create the most literal variations of them - hence my Bulldog Marine Devil Dogs + Crayons (lovingly re-dubbed Krayums) … I hope you LOVE it and plan to share it with your beloved [and much respected] Marine Corps counterpart, wife, son, husband, uncle, aunt, niece, daughter, grandparent …whatever the case may be. If you’re the Marine, thank you for your service and Semper Fi!!!!

The Kiekhaefer Mercury company began in 1939 when engineer Carl Kiekhaefer purchased a small outboard motor company in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Kiekhaefer's original intention for the Kiekhaefer Corporation was to make magnetic separators for the dairy industry. The purchase included 300 defective outboard motors. Kiekhaefer and a small staff of employees rebuilt the motors and sold them to Montgomery Ward, a mail-order company. The motors were much improved, so the buyer purchased more. Kiekhaefer designed motors that withstood the elements better than his competition and called the motor Mercury (taking advantage of the "Mercury" Motor Car popularity at the time) whilst adopting the logo of the Roman god Mercury.

She was the daughter of Russ and Anne Jorden and younger sister to Timmy Jorden. The United States Colonial Marine Corps unit which was dispatched to the moon in 2179 discovered her hiding in the colony's ventilation system. She subsequently became close to Ellen Ripley, who later risked her own life to rescue Newt from the Xenomorph Hive.
