The Isuzu Trooper is a mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was produced by the Japanese automaker Isuzu from 1981 to 2005. The Trooper was known for its off-road capabilities and rugged, boxy design, and was offered in both two- and four-door configurations. Over the course of its production run, the Trooper received several updates and upgrades, including engine improvements, interior refinements, and updated exterior styling. Despite its popularity, the Trooper was eventually discontinued in 2005 due to declining sales and increased competition in the SUV market.
