Horus in Ancient Egyptian, is one of the most significant ancient Egyptian deities who served many functions, most notably god of kingship and the sky.

Nephthys is a funerary goddess with a minor role in the Osiris myth. She is the daughter of Nut and Geb and the sister of Isis, Osiris and Seth. She is married to Seth and has one child, the jackal headed God Anubis.

Pharaoh is the common title of the monarchs of ancient Egypt from the First Dynasty (c. 3150 BCE) until the annexation of Egypt by the Roman Empire in 30 BCE, although the actual term "Pharaoh" was not used contemporaneously for a ruler until Merneptah.

This comes from a print in E. A. Wallis Budge's book "The Gods of the Egyptians : or, Studies in Egyptian Mythology" (1904). It shows the deities Isis and Osiris from a papyrus scroll. To oversimplify extremely complex nuances of Egyptian mythology, Osiris is primarily the god of rebirth, resurrection, and the afterlife. Isis is one of the most powerful deities associated with motherhood, magic, and protection

Behold The Crown || After The Burial

This hand-carved block print depicts the Ancient Egyptian god Thoth in his Ibis form. The image is based on an original illustration from a papyrus of the Book of the Dead created in the 19th Dynasty. He is holding a neb sign (a basket) with an ankh (the symbol of life) and two was scepters (a symbol of power or well-being for a deceased person.) I've recreated this as a block print and printed it by hand before scanning it to create this design.

Beautiful Ancient Kemet Graphic depicts Osiris, Isis and Horus with hieroglyphics background.

This depiction of Sekhmet comes from an Ancient Egyptian menat counterweight. A menat was a type of heavily beaded ritual necklace and the Sekhmet image was used as a counterweight on the back. There are representations of women holding the necklace, possibly shaking them to make noise, during ceremonies honoring the goddess. Here you can see Sekhmet represented as a lion-headed goddess figure. I've recreated this depiction of Sekhmet in my own style based off a menat counterweight located in the Met.

After The Burial Metal

Anubis is the ancient Egyptian god of death rites and mummification. According to Osiris myth, he was crown prince who was in his bandages. Anubis is in equation also the manifestation of Horus and Osiris. A somber and dark design of the Egyptian god Anubis, who was often depicted with a dog or jackal head.

This design is based of a talatat from Amarna in Ancient Egypt. Amarna was an 18th Dynasty city established by one of the most notorious pharaohs, Akhenaten. A talatat was a standardized piece of limestone that was used for construction and often decorated in beautiful imagery, sometimes relating to the worship of the Aten. Here the talatat represented a field of ripe barley, swaying in the breeze. I've recreated this as a block print and printed it by hand in before scanning it.
