A digitally remastered photograph of some very colorful urban art, NYC. I love finding creative possibilities in the excitement of the urban environment. Street art, graffiti and art-minded vandalism inspire my visual imagination as does the city itself with all its energy. Photography allows me to record what I see, so as to hold onto what I'm seeing. It's a jumping off point for the imagination. From there, the digital realm is endless. You can do almost anything from within it. That's where my creative juices get flowing. On a recent vacation to Gdansk in Poland I took this photograph of waves splashing in the Baltic Sea. This was on a quite windy day at Sobieszewo Beach - which in my opinion is the best beach in Gdansk (it is less touristy and has a more natural feel to it). The photograph is digitally altered a bit to bring out the bright vivid colours.
