This started out when I was taking a tutorial but got away from me so that the final result looks nothing like the tutorial image.

Cotehele is a mediaeval/Tudor house located in the parish of Calstock, Cornwall, England, UK. The grounds stretch down to a quay on the River Tamar where there is an outpost of the National Maritime Museum.

Sunsets on the sea are my favourite. On this one, I was lucky enough to spot a sailing boat crossing the scene at the right time and snaped this image straight away!

I took this picture on a trip to Austria at a place called Neusiedl am See. There is a massive lake there and the water was so still that the reflections were perfect, it was so quiet and still that I had to call it Peace. Edited in Photoshop cc and Topaz. The Milky Way stretches across the sky, high above Lake Wyaralong and the setting, nearly-new moon. The moon was actually only a tiny sliver, which is why its light didn't hide the stars.

While visiting Vancouver, I was really intrigued by the wonderful reflections that appeared on the glass-covered office towers. While absolutely essential, photographers hate the power cables that line North American city streets. My solution for this image was to turn my camera about 45 degrees so my viewpoint looked between the cables. The result is a wonderful abstraction that I hope you'll enjoy.

The beautiful town of Sirmione is situated at the end of a peninsular at the south end of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. This image was shot from the eastern side of the historical centre of the resort and Mallard ducks can be spotted on the clear, still water of the lake just before the sun set over the horizon at the end of another beautiful May day.

Canon Rebel T3i. Tillandsia Usneoides or Spanish Moss is not a moss at all. It's an air plant related to the Pineapple. It does not leach from the trees or underbrush it lives on. It simply uses the host tree as a means of gaining height for sunlight. It is native to the Southeastern United States.
