The California Sunshine was an American soccer club based in Fountain Valley, California that was a member of the American Soccer League. Their first season was 1977, but the team folded in 1981 after four seasons. The California Sunshine was founded with two major philosophies: To field as many American players as possible and to keep profanity off the playing field.

Located on four-plus acres of city owned land in Torrance, California, Skateboard World opened in 1977, making it one of the world's first commercial skate parks. The park predated the burgeoning pro skateboarding boom, and not only helped shape the industry, but also created a blueprint for many other parks in the decade to follow. The park hosted many competitions and events, and was a favorite session spot for countless professional skaters until its untimely demise in 1983.

Right After Torrance (RAT) Beach in Malaga Cove, CA, offers a serene escape for surfers of all levels. The beach provides a quiet atmosphere, offering an excellent opportunity to observe dolphins in the distance. One thing that sets the RAT Beach surf spot experience apart is its laid-back vibe, where friendly locals outnumber any "locals only" attitude. Nestled in Palos Verdes Estates, it's the northernmost sandy beach in the area, contrasting the usual rocky coves and steep cliffs. Surfing is accessible via the Malaga Cove Trail. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Surfrider Foundation. Protect the waves and beaches you love!
