A while back, I saw an episode of Doug that opened with him and Skeeter watching a monster movie - BEETRA: THE KILLER BEET. It's fairly obvious that some kaiju fans worked on that show, but it became really obvious when Beetra picked up a bus that had "King Ghidorah" written on the side, in katakana.
Naturally, I felt compelled to do this piece, and even had a good excuse to draw Reptar, so here's a little crossover of Nickelodeon kaiju. Plus, Quailman joins the battle!
A lime is the opposite of an apple.
See, an apple a day will keep the doctor away, but when you put the lime in the coconut and drink them both up, you'll call the doctor and wake him up.
Affectionately - and appropriately - called the Toybox Painting, this is a tribute to one of my favorite Godzilla movies, with Godzilla, Gigan, Anguirus, and King Ghidorah portrayed by the Trendmasters designs (along with a cameo of the Imperial Godzilla as the Godzilla Tower)!
This is an acrylic painting I did this year, which is an homage to not only my personal favorite Godzilla film, but when I first saw it when I was 7 (which was 20 years ago). The fact it's a painting is also a tribute to the late Noriyoshi Ohrai (as his poster art appeared on the box of old VHS copy I first saw the movie on). Affectionately called the Big Painting, this is my largest piece I've ever done to date, both in physical size and ambition.
Gyaos, from the 1995 film GAMERA: GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE, is canonically Trans, Intersex, and Ace.
I myself am not LGBT+, I'm only an ally; at least, I actively try to be one. I am not just saying this because it's June (at the time of upload), but I love you, my Prideful LGBTQIA friends and family.
