I try to imaging the personalities of different spring wildflowers. This is a sessile bellwort (wild oats). The plant has a drooping stem where a single flower is attached. I imagine this plant being very introverted and sometimes lonely.

This image is inspired by my studies in aquatic entomology. I learned a lot about these peculiar little creatures. For this artwork, I Included the basic anatomy of the Brachicentridae Caddisfly. I have drawn its fully aquatic juvenile form, its log cabin case, and its terrestrial flying adult form.

I just got a starter colony of mealworms. I am going to be using their frass for houseplant fertilizer and hopefully reducing my food waste a bit by feeding them my scraps.

A pepper from my garden last year. It was the first time I grew a plant from vegetable seed to adult plant.

You absentmindedly sat your glass of delicious black liquid on the counter top. You suddenly remembered to so something and leave your glass unattended. When you walk back into the room, you are stopped dead in your tracks. You see your cat toying with the glass. It is dangerously close to the counter's edge. With one more swipe, you gasp. This get's your furbaby's attention. You foolishly believe you and your cat have reached an understanding. That is, until your cat's paw makes contact with the glass one last time, sending it tumbling off the counter top. The liquid seeps into your carpet. All the while, your feline never broke eye contact.

This little crested gecko was someone's real life pet as part of an art challenge I was doing. I decided to draw him with some fluffy marshmallows because why not?
