As one of the forest's most respected gentlemen, Alistair is often sought out for advice on maintaining a proper gentlemanly appearance--starting with how to keep monocles free of whisker-smudges! When he is not keeping company with his young acquaintances and gentlemen-in-training, he enjoys attending the theater and hosting elaborate balls (particularly if he gets to decorate with popcorn garlands). His magnificent paintings are often on display at high society balls, though they haven't yet been added to the local museum. Ever since he was a young ferret, Kingsley has adored the opera. His lady wife recently bought him his first pair of opera glasses, and Kingsley hasn't put them down since. They often see the Friday night opera with Mr. Darcy—despite Mr. Darcy's young age, the gentleman hedgehog has a wonderful ear for music—for Kingsley and Mr. Darcy find they have a lot in common. When not in the company of the splendid Mr. Darcy, Kingsley likes to relax in his garden with a good pipe. Quincey was often bullied as a child for his glasses and rather large head. Though he didn't grow out of either one, he did realize most bullies had much harder lives than he did—his parents had always been home to help him with his homework, and to look under the coral for monsters before bed. A lot of times the fish and other animals who bullied him didn't have such loving families! It wasn't fair, so Quincey decided he would try to help them—he was good at math and at science, so he started a club at school for after-school tutoring. And maybe he couldn't bring himself to look under the coral for monsters alone, but he could help his friends look. And get lots of waterproof flashlights.

As it happens, Zeus is so fond of parties that he's known to host balls almost every weekend of the summer! He knows of each and every lady in the county, and is certain to give them all lavish gifts at the season's end--especially if they happen to be excellent dancers!
